Kalaeloa – Kaimana Neighborhood

Photonworks Engineering LLP designed and installed a 300kW photovoltaic system at the Kaimana Neighborhood located in Kalaeloa, HI.  This former military housing development was converted to private property and the 200 units were outfitted with a 300kw PV system consisting of 882-340 watt Hanhwa Solar modules & 25 SolarEdge 10k watt inverters.  The community is master metered on the Navy’s energy grid under a Standard Interconnect Agreement with HECO.  The system was installed under a Power Purchase Agreement with the single owner of the 200-unit development.  New roofs were installed on all units before PV was installed.
